Typical of its design is, above all, the reduction to the essentials without losing its elegance. He follows the concept of the "super-normal", which is about improving everyday objects and making them look more classical, without the designer having to be directly recognizable. For him, it is especially important to pay attention to the function and use of his works.
In 1982, Jasper attended the Kingston Polytechnis Design School in his birthplace, where he completed his Bachelor's degree in design. He moved to the Royal College of Art within the city for his master's degree. He also studied in Berlin for a period of his studies. In 1986 he founded his own design studio named "Jasper Morrison Ltd". This studio also works for Vitra, Alessi, Cappellini, Franz Schneider Brakel and Rowenta.
Works of Morrison can be admired in many places. He was also responsible for the design of the Hannoverschen Stadtbahnen. He also designed a bus stop for the Vitra Design Museum. This hotel is located in Weil am Rhein. In our shop you will find some pieces of furniture designed vor Vitra.
