Info: Since early 2024, the seat shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs have been made from a special material: recycled post-consumer plastic. The source of this recycled material is new – it comes from Germany’s household recycling collection system known as the “Gelber Sack,” mainly consisting of used packaging. It reduces climate-damaging emissions compared to conventional plastics and requires significantly less energy. Another characteristic feature of the new seat shells is the subtle speckling, especially visible in the lighter colors, which results from the composition of the recycled material.

Clear lines
It blends seamlessly into everyday life, avoiding extraordinary design. As a newly interpreted, multifunctional chair, it is part of a versatile product family – clear and contemporary. The comfortable seat shell accommodates various sitting positions.

Equipped with
…a seat shell made of recycled plastic. Suitable gliders are available in various versions, adapted to different types of flooring. Up to 6 chairs can be stacked on top of each other.

For the sake of the environment
