Shapely Designer Outdoor Luminaires
Whether you enjoy the evening outdoors in balmy summer months or come home in the dark in cold winter months, both have something in common. Good lighting for outdoors is elementary.
Lamps for garden, terrace, house entrance and co.
It is not easy to find a luminaire for outdoors, given the number of different designs and versions. Ceiling lights, wall lights, pendant lights or the classic lantern are just a few examples of outdoor luminaires. To ensure that the lamps can remain durable outdoors, it is important to pay attention to the right certification. Lamps with IP44 certification are protected against foreign bodies and splashing water. For lamps in the garden, solar-powered plug-in lamps are a good choice. During the day, they are charged by solar energy and do not need electricity; when it gets dark, they come on automatically. For the entrance to the house, luminaires with motion detectors are practical because they switch on automatically when you come near them. Especially at night, or in cold months when it is dark in the morning and evening, outdoor luminaires are a must. An outdoor wall light can effectively illuminate paths and the entrance to a house. For covered terraces or balconies, you can get creative with the lamps. Pendant luminaires bring light comfortably over the table. Paths and the driveway should also be well illuminated so that you can find your way even in the dark.
Choose the mood
Light sets the mood and you set the light. With the right luminaires, you can set specific accents and influence the mood. Dimmed, warm light creates a cosy atmosphere for relaxing. Fairy lights have a romantic effect and provide a pleasant light. Bright, cool light is not as calming as soft light, but it is important for outdoor areas. Places such as the driveway, the house entrance and paths around the house should be well lit. If you like to adjust your light flexibly, LED lamps are a good choice. Many modern LED lights can be operated by remote control or app. Even the colour can be adjusted depending on the luminaire. So you can even individually adjust and change how your outdoor lights shine.
The right light source
Luminaires for patios, gardens and the like should, if possible, have a number of features that guarantee their economy and durability. Outdoor luminaires that are solar-powered are particularly economical because they do not require electricity. During the day, they recharge their batteries by sunlight. Larger light sources, however, usually have to be connected to a power source. In addition to solar lamps, LED lamps also have many advantages. They are characterised by long durability, high luminosity and low power consumption. The right design for your outdoor area can be found quickly in the pro office shop. Muted colours are ideal for the outdoor area. Black, brown, grey and anthracite are neutral colours that are well suited for wall lights. But ceiling lights in muted colours are also true classics. This makes them look elegant and timelessly classic.
