Vitra Miniatures
About the Vitra Miniatures
Over the past decades, those responsible at the Vitra Design Museum have set themselves the task of reproducing important representatives of furniture design in miniature form. The result was an impressive overview of the epochs from the present day back through postmodernism to the Bauhaus back to Art Nouveau and Historicism.

The chairs are scaled down to a scale of 1:6 and are exact copies of their original models down to the smallest detail. This applies not only to the dimensions but also to every nuance of the material, the feel and the colours. All this makes the miniatures sought-after objects for collectors from all over the world. From the Vegetal chair (Bouroullec) to the Panton Chair by Verner Panton and the Lounge Chair by the Eames brothers, the manufacturer offers a wide range of choices.
