Meet
For conference areas, the AC 5 Group has the AC 5 Meet in its portfolio. The comfortable meeting chair is equipped with deep suspension and a rocking mechanism and ensures comfortable and healthy sitting with sufficient freedom of movement even during long meetings.
Swift
The AC 5 Swift shows its strengths in agile working environments. Practical castors and the flexible construction of the backrest ensure dynamic seating and flexible use.
The ingenious backrest
The best of both worlds. The backrest of the AC 5 model combines the visual lightness of a mesh with the comfort of upholstery. A flexible plastic frame forms the core of the self-supporting backrest construction. The cover is pulled over the plastic frame, the specially quilted upholstery chambers provide targeted stabilisation. The upholstery effect provides relief and support at the same time.
Comfort thanks to 3 zones
The support and flexibility of the spine is ensured by the 3 zones located in the backrest. The movable and stretched frame, the upholstery and the lumbar support of the AC 5 Work provide secure hold and relaxation.
Angled backrest
The angled backrest of "Work Lowback", "Meet", "Swift" and "Studio" makes a variety of sitting positions possible and also sets special visual accents.
Lumbar support
The lumbar support of the AC 5 Group models provides comfortable and effective support in the lower back area without disturbing with pressure points. The gentle transition to the sink zone ensures pleasant sitting comfort.
Armrests
FreeFloat
The FreeFloat armrest can be quickly and easily adjusted to suit a wide range of needs. The pad can be moved smoothly in different directions at the push of a button. It is optionally available for "Work" and "Work Lowback".
Ring armrest
The ring armrest is available for all models of the Vitra AC 5 group. It is made of die-cast aluminium and is optionally available with a fine leather cover.
FlowMotion mechanics
Vitra uses its patented mechanism in the "Work" and "Work Lowback" models. The synchro-mechanism can be adjusted to the weight of the individual user in both the backward and forward inclination. Tensions are prevented, the intervertebral disc is sufficiently supplied, the blood circulation is promoted. Stress and tension can be better reduced and the ability to concentrate can be increased.
Tilt mechanism
AC 5 Studio and AC 5 Meet have the tilt mechanism. The tilt mechanism ensures sufficient comfort and movement even in long meetings and sessions.
The seat cushion
With the "Work" and "Work Lowback" models, you can choose between the contoured seat, which provides extra support and stability, and the standard seat with the extra freedom of movement. Both seat cushions are filled with moulded polyurethane foam.
