Vitra Clocks
About Vitra clocks
The America of the 1950s was characterized by economic upswing and belief in modernity, technical progress and the new in the world. During this time George Nelson designed a variety of clocks, lamps but also other home accessories with the aim of bringing modern times to life in the living room. The "Ball Clock" (George Nelson, 1948/60), the "Sunflower Clock" (from the same year) and many other models have become design icons of the 1950s.
