Task means task - and for each task the manufacturer Vitra has designed the right chair. In the Vitra Task Chairs section, you'll find products for the team worker who works at a desk, but is also out and about in the house, conferring with colleagues. The Connector is also not constantly in place, but is often found in internal meetings. Even rarer is the Navigator in the office, who performs other tasks as a managing director (CEO) or sales representative and is only occasionally active in his or her office. Directly at the workplace is the specialist, who performs purpose-bound tasks at his desk. The Vitra Task Chairs group includes the AC Work, the ID Chair concept (both Antonio Citterio), the AM Chairs and the Physix (both Alberto Meda), as well as the Allstar (Konstantin Gricic) and the Pacific Chair (Barber & Osgerby). All Vitra Task Chairs met high safety requirements with ANSI/BIFMA x5.1-2011. Vitra Designer Chairs for the Office or Home Office

Vitra Task Chairs can be customized through their coverings, fabrics, colors and leathers, with different looks and feels. Likewise, factors such as design, livability, comfort and seating climate can be selected individually. Among the models you will find chairs with adjustable backrests, without backrests, seat depth adjustment, freedom of movement also for lateral sitting positions, rocking mechanism for longer meetings and flexible chairs on castors for agile work areas. Comfort through deep suspension is just as possible as visual lightness through mesh fabric or patented perforated pattern.

The ID Chair Concept by Antonio Citterio is particularly environmentally friendly, allowing countless individualizations from open space to upscale management. The chair is 95 percent recyclable and already consists of 58 percent recycled materials. The wear parts are replaceable, and the seat covers are easily removable.
