As a manufacturer of sustainable furniture, Vitra always asks itself the question of sensible and oleaginous material alternatives. For the Vitra HAL chairs, Vitra uses recyclable materials in the production, which consists of the usual collections of recyclable materials, such as used packaging or industrial waste. During production, this creates a seat shell in dark gray, which you can also order here in exactly this finish (Dark Gray 22 RE). Feel free to browse through the many other color variations of the Vitra HAL RE models.

The designer, Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison is a British designer best known for his minimalist and functional designs. He has designed a variety of products including furniture, household items, electronics and transportation systems.
Morrison studied at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London and began his career as a designer in the 1980s. Since then, he has worked for a variety of prestigious companies including Vitra, Cappellini, Magis and Flos.
Morrison has received a variety of awards and accolades, including the Design Plus Award and the Good Design Award. He is also a member of the Royal College of Art and the Royal Society of Arts.
Morrison has made a name for himself through his minimalist and functional designs and is considered one of the most influential designers of his generation. He places great emphasis on quality and sustainability in his work and has helped bring design back to being seen as a tool to solve problems and improve people's lives.
