Jaime Hayon
Spanish artist and designer
Jaime Hayon is a Spanish artist and designer. He was born in 1974 in Madrid, Spain. Hayon studied industrial design in Paris and Madrid. From 1997 to 2003, Hayon headed Fabrica's design department in Italy. The artist founded his own studio in 2000. Jaime Hayon is today one of the most renowned artists and designers.

Galleries and exhibitions
Initially Hayon's Visiono was presented at the David Gill Gallery, London "Mediterranean Digital Baroque". His designs were then shown in numerous exhibitions such as the Groninger Museum, London's Design Museum, Aram Gallery, Mudac Museum, Vivid Gallery, Centre Pimpidou, Mak Vienna, Walker Art Center, Gallerie Thomas and the Basel Art Fair.
Collections
His creativity and craftsmanship have enabled him to collaborate with a wide variety of companies. Thus he has created collections and works for Bosa Caremiche, Baccarat, Choemon and Lladro.
Furniture & Furnishings
As a furniture designer Hayon designs furniture for renowned manufacturers. Collections have been created for Fritz Hansen, Bisazza, B.D. Barcelona, Bernhardt Design, Moooi, Cecotti, Se London, Established and Sons and Magis. In addition to furniture design, Hayon designed luminaires for Metalarte, Baccarat and Swarovski as well as accessories for Gaia and Gino, Piper Heidsieck and The Rug Company.
Jaime Hayon also designs interiors for restaurants, hotels and retailers worldwide.
Awards and Recognition
Hayon has received several awards including Best Designer for Elle Deco Japan, 2008, Maison Objet Designer of the year 2010, Elle Deco Int. Award 2006 and 2012, Best International Designer 2008 by Elle Deco Germany, Designer of the year 2009 by AD russia and many more.
