Ro™ JAIME HAYON 2013

The Ro ™ is much more than just a chair. He is a 1½-seater, where you can relax wonderfully, make yourself comfortable in different positions, read a newspaper or deal with the computer or the offspring - a new comfort zone. Ro means calm in Danish. This name was chosen because it describes the character of the chair with only two letters, and in this simple way expresses the Scandinavian concept for aesthetics.

Designer Jaime Hayon
Born in Madrid in 1974. As a teenager he was part of the graffiti art and skateboard culture. In doing so, he laid the foundation for his daring and plausible presentation of his work today. Hayon studied industrial design in Madrid and Paris. In 1997, he joined Fabrica, a design and communications academy founded by Benetton. He worked closely with the legendary designer Oliviero Toscani. After a short time he became the Head of Design Department at the Academy. Jaime went with collections of designer toys, furniture and crockery on his own way. Later, interior designs and installations followed.
