The potential to become your favorite chair: the lounge chair Thonet 808

Thonet 808 will be made almost individually for you, you decide which frame and which cover. You can choose a tubular steel frame (chrome or colors), frame made of wood or a flat steel frame. For the cover are available fabric or leather. Only the design is fixed: the armchair 808 offers openness and protection, for retreat and tranquility. The upper back section is reminiscent of a protective collar; the shell is also inviting and conveys a sense of security. The luxurious upholstery is reminiscent of waves and contrasts excitingly with the smooth outer shell. The modern adjustment mechanism allows the chairs to be individually adapted to the user.

The Lounge Family

The lounge chair 808 is the bigger brother of the 809, which is suitable for smaller rooms or groups. The armchair is matched by the low side tables 1808 and 1809, which are adjusted to the height of the armchair. With armchair, and side table this Thonet family is perfect for comfortable living. The designers

Claudia Kleine (born 1974) and Jörg Kürschner (born 1969) studied interior design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In 2001, they jointly founded the Formstelle office in the Bavarian capital, where they work in the fields of product design and interior design. In their designs, the design duo considers the spatial and contextual relationships of the products through research and material experimentation. The designers of Formstelle also deal with manufacturing methods to the point of series production with their products and develop innovative solutions with demand and quality.
