Relaxation at last: With the Repos and Grand Repos lounge chairs from Vitra, peace and quiet returns to the home. Designer Antonio Citterio has furnished the elegant seating furniture with generous upholstery, armrests and a high back. The synchronous mechanism is concealed inside the upholstery and can be used to move the recliners from a sitting to a resting position. The chair can be locked in any position. Every comfortable position is achieved by means of a sophisticated mechanism that adapts to the user's weight. The premium products guarantee a high level of seating comfort and optimal support for the back. The Repos and Grand Repos are available in two seat heights, with the matching ottoman (footrest). The matching neck cushion is filled with feathers.
Comfortable equipment of the Repos
Nothing fits better into the world of living than the Vitra Repos. The Repos and Grand Repos from Vitra are designed with a four-star base, available in polished aluminium or powder-coated in black. The seat heights are selectable between 400 mm or 450 mm. By choosing the cover material and the color you give your Repos the individual touch. Volo is an expressive fabric with wool, available in 17 colors. Cosy 2 and Credo are also mainly made of new wool, lively melange yarn or plain in many beautiful colors. Dumet is a mixed fabric made of cotton in twenty possible color variations. The armchairs in leather with beautiful contrast stitching are based on the classic colors, snow, asphalt, sand, nero and chocolate.
Antonio Citterio
Antonio Citterio, born in 1950, opened his own design studio as early as 1972, three years before he completed his architecture studies in Milan. Between 1987 and 1996 he worked with Terry Dawn as an architect and was awarded the Compasso d'Oro design prize, among others. In 2000 Citterio founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture and interior design with Patricia Viel. The internationally successful studio "Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel" works for renowned clients such as Vitra.
