The Occasional Table is a small variable side table from Charles and Ray Eames. Some of these beautiful tables were used for the designers themselves and placed in the Eames House. As a storage area next to sofas and armchairs they harmonize perfectly with decorative Eames objects. The abbreviation LTR describes the structure of the product (Low Table Rod Base).

With the Vitra LTR Occasional Table, you have found the perfect piece of furniture to go with the chairs of the two Midcentury designers. The table is small and stable with the dimensions 39.2 cm width, 33.5 cm depth and 25 cm height. The frame corresponds in design with the chairs (armchair and chair) made of steel wire. The Occasional Table is available in chrome-plated or black powder-coated versions. The tabletop can also be freely configured, wood (oak or American walnut), HPL laminated wood with laminated top or gold leaf (Gold Leaf) or Italian Carrara marble.
The Vitra LTR Occasional Table was developed by Ray & Charles Eames in 1950 to match the Plastic Chairs and many other pieces of furniture. Several of the small side tables can also be spontaneously combined to form a large surface when visitors arrive. In 1957, the manufacturer Vitra acquired the licence from Herman Miller for the articles of the designers Charles and Ray Eames for Europe and the Middle East - you can get the Vitra LTR Occasional Table and other furniture and lamps as originals in your pro office shop.
