Vitra Panchina

The Vitra Panchina was created in 2011 by designer Antonio Citterio. The upholstered bench can be used as a simple seat or as a footrest for the Repos or Grand Repos. As a footrest, the comfort of the chair can be enjoyed even better. Similar to an ottoman, the Panchina can simply be placed as a stool in front of the armchair. Its versatility and great design make Vitra Panchina the perfect addition to any home.

Panchina can be upholstered in a variety of leather and fabric options. The decorative stitching is a beautiful contemporary accent. The base of Panchina are die-cast aluminum and are available in polished or colored powder-coated finishes.

Antonio Citterio

Antonio Citterio was born in Meda, Italy in 1950. He founded his own studio as early as 1972. In 1975, he graduated from the Milan Polytechnic with a degree in architecture. Together with Terry Dawn he designed buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. With Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, Citterio has worked with many other furniture manufacturers, including Hermés, B&B Italia, Technogym and many others. He has already received numerous awards for his designs.
