Pierre Paulin

Designer of the Ribbon Chair

Born in Paris in 1927, Piere Paulin studied sculpture at the École Camondo in Paris. In 1975 Paulin founded the design agency ADSA with his wife and designed cookware for Tefal, among other things. His furniture designs include the Mushroom Chair, the Ribbon Chair and the Tongue Chair. The Ribbon Chaur received the Chicago Design Award in 1969.
