The Vitra Moca stacking chair - super normal for private or public spaces

Stacked high and safe: the Moca chair by Vitra is an expression of the "Super Normal" claim with which the internationally renowned designer Jasper Morrison develops his unobtrusive and useful designs. Moca combines the skills of the famous designer and the know-how of Vitra - high-quality, durable materials ensure the chair's durability and attractiveness. The base of the Moca consists of two bent steel tubes, one of which supports the backrest. The seat and backrest are available as two beautiful veneer wood shells in light or dark oak, which are shaped to fit the body for a pleasant sitting comfort. The base frame can be chosen chrome-plated or with a matt, very robust enamel powder coating. The Moca can be stacked up to five chairs. An unobtrusive stacking protection element is mounted between the seat and the base to protect the chair surfaces. The Vitra Moca meets the legal standards for restaurants, cafés and other public spaces.

Jasper Morrison
The designer Jasper Morrisson, born in 1959, has influenced modern minimalism with his designs. His claim was the intuitive use not only of chairs, but of products of all kinds. Morrisson studied in England and Germany and also trained in Italy. In 1986 Jasper Morrison opened his studio Jasper Morrison Ltd. and now has three studios in London, Paris and Tokyo. His breakthrough came with the "Thinking Man's Chair". Morrison's aim is to move away from the idea of design just for the sake of design, back to natural objects. Jasper Morrison stands for the beauty of the normal and a fight against the throw-away mentality through timeless design that always appeals. Together with Naoto Fukasawa, Jasper Morrison coined the term Super Normal for minimalist design that takes into account archetypal forms without embellishment and promotes the intuitive use of objects. Products from Jasper Morrison's collection can be found in museums around the globe, including the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein. Jasper Morrison now holds an honorary doctorate and has received many design awards. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
