Fritz Hansen Grand Prix - A Sense of Colour
The Grand Prix™ by Arne Jacobsen is now available in 16 new colors. The chairs, made of compression-molded sliced veneer, are award-winning. The name Grand Prix is not derived from motorsports, but from the prestigious design award of the Triennale in the city of Milan, which designer Arne Jacobsen won with the chair in 1957.
Designs at it's Best
A Sense of Color - that's sixteen colors that have been carefully coordinated. In addition to the Series 7™ chairs and the well-known Ant Chair™, the Grand Prix™ brand furniture is also available in the new color palette from manufacturer Fritz Hansen. The colors were co-designed by designer Carla Sozzani. The new design includes shades such as Wild Rose, Venetian Red, Pale Rose, Burnt Yellow, True Yellow, Paradise Orange, Midnight Blue, Dusk Blue, Lavender Blue, Evergreen, Olive Green and more classic colors such as Black, White, Deep Clay, Light Beige and Nine Grey. The new palette was inspired by scents and colors from nature, a touch of yellow, blue, red, green or pink. The frames, which can be ordered in Black (black), White, Silver Grey, Chrome, Warm Graphite, Brown Bronze or Nine Grey, give your designer furniture a personalized touch.
