The Vitra EA 207 Chair
The chair from the Soft Pad Group family was developed in 1969. The Soft Pad Chairs are related to the Aluminium Group, but offer more comfort. The chairs consist of sewn-on cushions with a cover of fine leather and therefore adapt to the human body. The cosy cushion contrasts with the slim profile of the aluminium base. The Soft Pad Chair is a lush office chair with pleasant seating comfort that almost resembles an armchair. The designer couple Charles and Ray Eames designed the chair from leather with a backrest from fabric. In addition to the popular version in classic black, other unobtrusive colours are available to match and enhance any interior. In the pro office shop you will find further models of the Soft Pad Group, including the Soft Pad Chairs EA 205, 208 and EA 222 as well as the stool EA 222 and many other pieces of furniture by Charles and Ray Eames.
