The special pivot bearing connection is patented worldwide and stands for best Bauhaus design. The characteristic frame dome bears the imprint "Original Kaiser Idell".
The high-quality processing of the materials brass and steel is completed by the hand-painted finish in matt lacquer or high gloss. The beautiful chrome elements made of silver-soldered brass are polished.
Christian Dell
The German designer and silversmith worked from 1922 to 1925 at the Bauhaus and worked as a foreman in the workshop for metal. His pioneering and innovative design style set him apart. From 1926 Dell designed lights for the lamp factory Gebr. Kaiser & Co. The leading model of the Idell series, the "6631-Luxus", was introduced in 1936 in the first catalog.
