The classic among desk lamps, the Kaiser idell™ 6631 combines precision, craftsmanship, pure design and a distinctive sculptural quality.
Its distinctive swivel joint is patented worldwide and stands for Bauhaus design at its best. The characteristic shade dome carries the embossed mark „Original Kaiser Idell".
The brass and steel are finished by hand in either matt lacquer or high gloss. The chrome elements are made of silver-brazed brass and polished.
Choose your model in white, dark green, ruby red, matt black or black.
The lamp can be used with incandescent, energy-saving or LED bulbs.
Christian Dell
The German designer and silversmith worked at the Bauhaus from 1922 to 1925 as foreman of the metal workshop, where his pioneering and innovative approach to design set him apart. From 1926 he designed lamps for the Gebr. Kaiser & Co. lamp factory. The leading model of the Idell series, the „6631 Luxus", was presented in the first catalogue in 1936.
