Vitra ID Soft is the ergonomic office chair that offers countless possibilities for individualization. The ID Chair Concept offers the FlowMotion mechanism with different functions, back and armrests, seats and bases as well as an unbeatable range of colors and high-quality covers. The modern office chairs are suitable for open space, individual offices, teams, conference areas or management. The fully upholstered backrest and soft seat offer a high level of seating comfort. Optionally, the fleece "Clima Seat" can be integrated into the seat, which significantly improves the seating climate compared to conventional surfaces. With its clear lines, designer Antonio Citterio gave the ID Soft office chair a restrained appearance that adapts to different environments and to other furniture. The covers of the products are made of high-quality plastic, twill or leather; the base frame is made of polished aluminum or in black (basic dark).

Ergonomics and dynamic sitting

The Vitra ID Soft chair offers dynamic sitting and serves to prevent health problems. The range of movement of the ID Chair is enormous; the office swivel chair makes the weight-dependent forward tilt intuitive, moves the lower spine and activates the abdominal and back muscles. Using the chairs stabilizes the lumbar spine. The back of the chairs is adjustable in height and supports even above-average users in the upper shoulder area. The ID Chair Concept includes the ID Soft and ID Soft L chairs, each with different backrests.

Antonio Citterio

The designer Antonio Citterio, born in 1950, studied architecture in Milan and opened his first design office with Paolo Nava. Since 1999 he has been working with Patricia Viel in Milan in the office "Antonio Citterio and Partners". Cittero has important clients and works for companies such as Grohe AG, Kartell and Vitra. He received the coveted design award Compasso d'Oro for his skills.
