Since the beginning of 2024, the seat shells of the Eames Plastic Chairs have been made from a special material: recycled post-consumer plastic. The source of this recycled material is new - it comes from the German household recycling collection "Gelber Sack", mainly from used packaging. It reduces climate-damaging emissions compared to conventional plastic and uses significantly less energy. Another characteristic aspect of the new seat shells are the delicate speckles, especially in the lighter colors, which arise due to the composition of the recycled material.
The extensive selection of different underframes makes the Eames Plastic Chairs the ideal companion in the most diverse places. In this practical variant, the legendary seat shell is mounted on the functional base with turnstile. The castors offer maximum flexibility, whether in the open space office, in the home office and wherever a mobile chair serves its purpose.
