The Vitra EA 208 Chair
The EA 208 chairs, like all the other Vitra Soft Pad Chairs, date from 1969 and are reminiscent of the chairs of the Vitra Aluminium Group. In contrast to the EA 205 chair, the 208 swivels and has comfortable armrests. With this piece of furniture, the designers Charles and Ray Eames created a particularly elegant chair whose design has lost none of its modernity to this day.
Fine leather and durable aluminium
The EA 208 offers the best seating comfort with its upholstery. Fine leather in the front, hard-wearing Plano fabric in identical colour in the back. The base can be chosen freely, die-cast aluminium (polished, black powder-coated or chrome-plated). The manufacturer Vitra offers a 30-year guarantee on the Eames Soft Pad Chair.
