Charles and Ray Eames' shell chairs were first presented in the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition organized by the Museum of Modern Art in 1948.
Production began in 1950 and the Eames Chairs were the first mass-produced plastic chairs.
The multifunctional chair with the option to connnect different frames spread all over the world and the RAR is one of the outstanding models. Even tall users can use the chair despite the compact dimensions.
Fibreglass
The material has a lively texture, a trademark of the material itself. The irregular surface appears almost like a natural material.
