The Vitra Eames Fiberglass Chair DSR (Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base) combines a filigree steel wire construction with the historic fiberglass seat shell and combines stability with visual lightness. The fiberglass seat shell is available in 9 classic colors, an excerpt from the color palette developed by Charles and Ray Eames to continue the organic component of the design in the color scheme.
Materials
The seat shell is made of glass fibre reinforced polyester (fibreglass).
The Eiffel Tower underframe is a four-legged wire frame with struts. The powder-coated version is also suitable for outdoor use.
