The Amoebe Highback lounge chair was created in 1970 in several versions of Verner Panton's famous Visiona installation. It is a marvelous example of the type of ground-level lounge furniture and embodies the cheeky cheerful spirit of the early 70s. In bright colors, the re-edition thanks to a flexible backrest shell further improves seating comfort. In Amoebe Highback has a flexible backrest that curves over the head sculptural area, forming a kind of canopy over the seat ends. Amoebe Highback creates a sense of shelter and seclusion - especially in large, open spaces.
