Panton chair
It is a true design classic! With this legendary chair Verner Panton had a sensational success: The danish designer created the first cantilever made from just a single piece of plastic. Series production of the modern design chair started in 1967 and until today, the panton chair has cult status in the world of design furniture. Before Panton had appropriate partners and material, he utilized plywood to make the panton chair. The collaboration with the Swiss company Vitra made it possible to create a cantilever made of plastic. Since 1999, the chair in a Pop Art style is already being produced in the fourth variant in series. The new production corresponds to the basic idea of the cult chair.
As flexible as its shape are the characteristics: Dyed polypropylene with matte finish in six different colors leave nothing to be desired. Available colors are: Basic Dark, White, Ice Grey, Mandarin, Classic Red and Chartreuse. The material is slightly flexible, assuring a good seating comfort. Thanks to special additives in the composition a certain degree of UV-resistance is given. This allows the design icon also to be used outdoors and indoors. (A color fading in strong sunlight can not be excluded.)

Ich mag den Vitra Panton Stuhl sehr. Er sieht gut aus und ist einfach sauber zu machen. Die runde Form ist sehr bequem, auch bei längerem Gebrauch. Ich wurde freundlich beraten.
