Design Isamu Noguchi, 1951
The floor lamp Vitra Akari UF4-L8
The Akari Light Sculptures are exquisite lamps designed by the internationally renowned designer Isamu in 1951. The Vitra Akari UF4-L8 belongs to the Akari family, which are lamps exclusively handmade in Japan from Washi paper or Shoji for the manufacturer Vitra. The Akari lamps are very robust; the signet consisting of sun and moon and guarantees the authenticity. The structure of the almost two meter high floor lamps is made of bamboo and steel wire, the lampholder E27, the bulb is included. With energy efficiency A++, the products are extremely low-consumption.
