Mega large, stylish and practically dimmable: the lamp Artemide Tolomeo Mega has considerable dimensions and is ideal as table lighting with its extension of 1.70 meters. The arm is variable. It is made of shiny aluminum and is constructed with a sophisticated spring balancing system. The lamp head of the Artemide Tolomeo Mega provides great flexibility. The dimmer in the cable allows the floor lamp to produce cozy light as desired. With the ingenious design creates a small cone of light on the ceiling of the room - through the upper opening of the lampshade reflects the light. The floor lamp has the socket E27 and is operated with LED bulbs. The design of the floor lamp dates back to 2002.

Three lamps in three sizes

The lamps are available with three different shades in three sizes each with dimmer. The designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina

Michele De Lucchi (*1951) studied architecture in Florence. He stands for radical design and belonged to the "Junge Wilde". He was a design consultant and chief designer at Olivetti and was appointed professor of design and art at the University of Venice in 2001. Giancarlo Fassina was born in Milan in 1935, where he also studied architecture. He received the Italian design award Compasso d'Oro for the Tolomeo series of lamps.
