"Vitra Bistro table by Bouroullec"
Design: Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2009/2010
The practical Vitra Bistro Table - both inside and out
The restrained bistro table by brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec was developed in 2009 and 2010. The Vitra Bistro Table stands stable on an elegant base. The variant with solid core material is also suitable for outdoor use and creates space for a cosy meeting and good conversations. The bistro tables with solid core material are also suitable as garden furniture or balcony table. The table top in round or rectangular is available in three materials. The melamine version is directly coated in white, oak veneer is available in light or dark, the weather-resistant solid-core material is available in white, pastel grey or black. The black version of the tables has an additional anti-fingerprint coating for an aesthetic appearance. This coating makes annoying fingerprints invisible. The base frame is powder-coated metal in basic dark (RAL 9004) and can be turned out to a maximum of ten millimetres to compensate for uneven floors. The base frame of the bistro table is pre-galvanised. The Bistro Tables were created together with the Softshell Chair and repeat its elegant base. The table can also be combined with other chairs because of its simple form. The Bistro Tables can be used both sitting and standing, and the matching chairs can also be found in the pro office shop.
