Vitra Mariposa corner sofa

The Mariposa Corner sofa was designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby in 2020 as an addition to the Mariposa Sofas range. Mariposa means butterfly or moth and in this sense the backs of the furniture can be moved continuously. The corner version "Mariposa Corner" is an extension of the "Mariposa" models from 2014, which include sofas of various sizes, from the armchair, the Love Seat lounge chair, the two-seater to the three-seater. The corner sofa also offers comfort and ample space, and the continuous soft upholstery makes you feel at home. The covers are removable. There are many cover materials made of natural materials or high-quality plastic in modern and classic colours available.

Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

The designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, both born in 1969, run the Barber Osgerby architecture and design studio in England. They are internationally known for intelligent furniture design and durable products, including the Vitra Tip Ton for mobile seating, which is also available in the pro office shop. Barber & Osgerby are also active as industrial designers and architects.
