Tecnolumen Cubelight - Modern lighting design.
The Cubelight lamps based on the design from 2012 are reminiscent of the Rubik's Cube, which was awarded as the best solitaire game in 1980. And just as playful is this table lamp by designer Mathias Schifferdecker, which consists optionally of ten white cubes and four cubes each in pink or black, or fourteen white cubes and one cube each in the Bauhaus colors blue, yellow, red and also green. The table lamps are made of real glass, which is mainly transparent, partially colored. On the lamp base made of stainless steel (chrome-plated), the bodies can be creatively arranged depending on the mood. Even when switched off, the edge-cut glass cubes reflect, switched on the lights offer a warm white light with 2700 Kelvin color temperature. The lamp is dimmable and equipped with an energy-saving LED bulb. Each table lamp is individually numbered and bears the mark of the manufacturer TECNOLUMEN.
The designer
Mathias Schifferdecker was born in 1968. His parents ran an exclusive furniture store. Schifferdecker studied engineering and design. In 2016, he was honored with the international design award reddot winner award for novel luminaires. The CL1 table lamp has made it to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
