Mobile sitting with Fritz Hansen
The stacking chairs Fritz Hansen NAP™ and the armchair NAP™ KS50 enable mobility; NAP stands for: Normal, Active and Passive as a mobile sitting position with comfort and convenience. The NAP™ chairs cut a fine figure in the home and can be stacked effortlessly. NAP™ and its brother NAP™ KS50 are the work of designer Kasper Salto. Plastic foot stoppers prevent noise and damage to the floor. Legendary is the Fritz Hansen series 7™ Chair by designer Arne Jacobsen; a piece of seating furniture that is also available in many variations, armrests, wood, fabric or leather, with seat or fully upholstered. The floor protector is also included in this chair. The chairs of the series 7™ are among the most sold chairs ever. The chair was originally called Chair 3107 and its design dates back to the 1950s, when steam was first used to form laminated veneer panels.
Comfortable sitting with Fritz Hansen
In the course of the construction and furnishing of the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen in the 1960s, Arne Jacobsen designed the legendary Egg™ Chair, the Swan™ Chair and the Drop™ Chair, which are among the timeless classics of the 20th century and are still produced virtually unchanged by the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen. The legendary lounge chairs served to set the hotel apart from the environment. Now take advantage of the concept for the benefits of the free allocation of working hours, for times of rest to put your feet up, to switch off and to draw strength for new ideas. The Drop™ Chair is considered the favourite of its inventor - its beauty is extraordinary. The Ro™ is a 1½ chair that allows different sitting positions. The name Ro means calm and describes the character of the chair with only two letters. His designer Jaime Hayon studied industrial design in Madrid and Paris and worked closely with the Italian Oliviero Toscani (Benetton).
Let a light shine with Fritz Hansen
Selected materials and high-quality technology are the hallmarks of the classics by designer Christian Dell, including the Kaiser idell™ 6631 from 1936 from Germany. Dell also designed classic floor lamps and desk lamps. The designer was actually a silversmith and worked at the Dessau Bauhaus in the metal workshop between 1922 and 1925. The lamp now bears the CE mark and works with incandescent lamps, energy-saving lamps and LED lamps. The Fritz Hansen Avion™ pendant lamp is reminiscent of a flying object. The designers Aleksej Iskos and Boris Berlin were fascinated by the Zeppelin, which was the model for this idea, from an early stage. The Fritz Hansen Bulb Fiction™ pendant luminaire from KiBiSi, on the other hand, is puristic, with its opal glass shade providing pleasant and soft light. KiBiSi is the company of designers Lars Holme Larsen, Bjarke Ingels and Jens Martin Skibsted. You can find these and many other design objects in the pro office shop.
