Excellent, Italian design
Gianfranco Frattini was an Italian architect and designer. Born in Pedua in 1926, Frattini studied architecture at the Technical University in Milan and worked as an interior and industrial designer. His design of the Artemide Boalum is in the collection of the Smithsonian, Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. Frattini has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Compasso d'Oro.
