LED ceiling lamp Calipso

The honeycomb structure of the LED ceiling light Calipso looks random, its base is an image of the moon. Calipso is also the name of a NASA Earth observation satellite. The structure of the ceiling light resembles a honeycomb. The honeycomb impression of the pendant light is created by many individual tubes with different diameters. Calipso lights are light and robust and are also a decorative object when switched off.

Calipso luminaires radiate their light into the room on all sides and as a pendant luminaire are the ideal light source for the dining table. Due to the natural appearing light of 2700 Kelvin, the entire room is bathed in warm light. Optionally, the light color 3000 K can be selected. The lamp can be easily controlled via the Artemide app.

Via Bluetooth, the energy-saving luminaire ( A++ to A) can be switched, dimmed or staged. The app can be easily downloaded via the App Store. In the pro office store you will find more lamps - table lamps, pendant lamps and floor lamps of well-known brands or designers.

The designer

Neil Poulton was born in 1963 in Scotland and studied industrial design in Edinburgh and Milan, among others with the architect Anna Castelli Ferrieri (manufacturer Kartell) and with the famous designer Alberto Meda. In Paris he worked with together with the design legend Philippe Starck before he started his own business. He has received numerous awards for his design.
