USM Haller sideboard
The sideboards by USM Haller are furniture with cult status and hint at architecture as the origin of the modular furniture system. Engineer Paul Schärer and architect Fritz Haller developed the USM furniture system together in order to combine engineering and design. The USM design classics are even represented in the Museum of Modern Art.
Individual design options for the USM sideboard
Create your own design piece for storing files and documents in the office, the home office or private rooms such as the living room, dining room or hallway. USM sideboards provide storage for everything that matters or needs to be kept out of sight. Many design options are open to you: doors with locks prevent unauthorised access to files. Alternatively, shelves can be left open to display decorative items or allow quick access, or they can be fitted with drawers. Castors with locks are also available for the entire piece on request. The sideboards consist of three vertical and two horizontal levels. The painted metal is available in the 14 USM colours, including classic shades such as black, beige and grey as well as accent colours like ruby red for a modern look.
