An affair, an avalanche or a trio?
The traditional company COR offers designer sofas with illustrious names like Affair, Avalanche, Conseta, Elm, Floater, Jalis, Mell, Mell Lounge, Moss, Pilotis, Scope or Trio. Affair (design by Uwe Fischer) was created for the public area of the Frankfurt Fair Frankfurt. Meanwhile, this high-profile sofa can also be found in reception and business rooms as well as corporate headquarters or in an atrium. Avalanche means avalanche, because the backrest folds up. When it is folded down, the expansive cuddly sofa from the metrica design studio is transformed into a comfortable sofa seat. Conseta by Friedrich Wilhelm-Möller is an elementary furniture programme with individual design scope. Elm by the designer duo Markus Jehs & Jürgen Laub is close to nature with a fine wooden frame in oak or walnut combined with large cushions. The Floater with high backrest by Pauline Deltour is the right sofa for an undisturbed online meeting or as a perfect retreat. Additional shelves create space for notebooks and other equipment, even with its own power supply. Jalis by Jehs & Laub does not need any legs at all, the sofa can stand freely or on pedestals and is reminiscent of the cosiness of other cultures. Mell is the more austere version of Mel Lounge, a clear form with a filigree metal frame. Mell Lounge appeals for its contrasts with deep seats, dainty runners and cuddly cushions. Moss is the large sofa on short legs, on which you lie as if on clouds or - as the name suggests - on moss, a lot of craftsmanship from Jehs & Laub. Pilotis wants to be inhabited rather than possessed with its deep seating and reclining elements, also in the version for small apartments from the Studio metrica. Scope by Uwe Fischer, made of fabric or leather, is a flexible piece of seating furniture that can be rearranged into seating groups or thinker cells. The first version of the modular furniture system Trio was created in 1972 by the designers of Team Form AG. Its double outer seam gives the sofa an unmistakable character and speaks for its quality.

COR - Quality furniture from Rheda-Wiedenbrück
COR Sitzmöbel was founded in 1954 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück by Helmut Lübke, initially with Prince Adolf zu Bentheim-Tecklenburg, who retired from the company in the 1980s. Since then, Helmut Lübke's family has been the sole owners of COR. The traditional company produces furniture with a heart, Latin "cor", which is also exhibited in interlübke studios in some major cities in Germany and abroad. In addition to sofas, there are armchairs, chairs and stools by COR and combinable tables or side tables by designers in the pro office shop. The seating furniture from COR is sustainable and can be reupholstered or covered freshly even after years of use. COR furniture is produced in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, many materials come from Germany, such as leather, and some upholstery fabrics come from Italy. Manufacture in Germany guarantees quality, durability and short transport routes. For this, COR upholstered furniture has been awarded the Blue Angel.
