Eames Aluminium Chair
The Charles and Ray Eames aluminum chairs are undoubtedly one of the most famous furniture designs from the 20th century. Originally the designers designed the chair 1958 for a private house in Columbus. They stretched leather and fabric between two sides of aluminum, leaving the principle of the classic seat shell. The chair adapts to the body without expensive upholstery with this method and offers an extraordinary sitting comfort. The manufacturer Vitra has been producing the line of aluminum chairs for several decades now, and the quality remains unchanged. All aluminum Group chairs therefore have a 30-year guarantee. The EA 107 and the EA 108 are predestined for use in meeting rooms and meeting rooms, but they also make a glamorous figure as a dining chair.
Story
Charles and Ray Eames initially designed the Aluminum Chair for private areas. Soon Charles used it for his office. Today the long-lasting chairs are found all over the world and in different environments. The functional and timeless design is as elegant as modern. Suitable for the workplace and in public places, eg. at airports, libraries or universities.

The EA 108 has a swivel function, the EA 107 is non-swivelling. Both chairs are available in this variant with fabric or mesh in various colors.
