Vitra Vases Decoupage
Beautiful accessories: Découpage means cut to size, and that's exactly how the hand dyed vases, the Vases Découpage, with a design from 2020 should look. The handcrafted expression is wanted by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The vases are made of clay and are each equipped with a cylinder, plate and rod. There are three vases that can be perfectly combined as a set, Barre (the rod), Disque (the disc) and Feuille (the leaf). The décor with different colours and compositions looks unconventional and funny, always a little different depending on the angle of view.
Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
The brothers Ronan (*1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (*1976) studied at the National School of Fine Arts and work together in their Parisian design studio. They have earned many awards, such as the "Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris" the "New Designer Award" in New York and the "Red Dot Award". Their career started with the idea of the "Disintegrated Kitchen" at the Milan Furniture Fair in 1998 and designs by the two Frenchmen have been produced by Vitra, among others, since 2000.
