"Thonet S 661 chair"
The all-rounder: the Thonet S 661 moulded wood chair
The S 661 shaped wood chair is a design from the 1950s by Günter Eberle. At the time, Eberle was head of the Thonet architecture department in Frankenberg. Only various designs by him are known, such as the Thonet S 661, which was awarded a silver medal and the "Good Industrial Form" prize during or after the Italian design fair Triennale in 1954. Due to its versatility, this beautiful chair can be used in the dining area, in the kitchen, in the living room, in the office, in the home office or in public spaces such as canteens, restaurants or waiting areas. Its seat shell is made of natural material, natural or stained beech. The grain makes each 661 chair look unique. The tubular steel frame of the furniture is chrome-plated or powder-coated in black or white. All in all, the chairs convey a clear and homely aura through reduction.
The table for the S 661 chair
The Thonet S 1200 secretary by the Thonet Design Team with Randolf Schott from 2014 with its filigree appearance is suitable for the home office. The use of the material corresponds with each other. If you like to experience community, the S 1071 or S 1072 table is a good choice, also made of chromed tubular steel and a beech tabletop. The design of these extraordinarily stable dining tables comes from Glen Oliver Löw.
