Elegant design from 1935: the designer Marcel Breuer developed the tubular steel furniture that is still manufactured today by the traditional company Thonet. Thonet desks are considered modern classics that are timelessly beautiful and durable. It is also the time when Breuer, together with Bauhaus colleagues, developed the cantilever chair and other chairs and armchairs made of tubular steel for production. The furniture belongs to the "New Objectivity" epoch: the name says it all - the Thonet desks fit into any environment, in the office as well as in the home office.
