Thonet S 285-2 desk

Product information

"Thonet S 285-2 desk"

The Thonet tubular steel desk S 285-2

Elegantly curved by designer Marcel Breuer: During his time at the Bauhaus, the architect invented the modern tubular steel furniture. After the cantilever chair, Breuer also developed tables in 1935 that could become companions for life thanks to their robustness and functional style.

The Thonet tables with their purist design adapt to any interior and can therefore also be easily integrated into the home office or office. "The new objectivity" is a piece of art history that enhances your office. The manufacturer Thonet produces different versions for every need, including the S 285-0, S 285-1 and S 285-5 tables. The design of the S 285-0 is particularly purist, with no shelves at all for documents or accessories.
