The garden chairs correspond to the classic S 40 by Mart Stam, who was awarded the artistic copyright. The model was first offered in the Thonet catalog in 1935. Meanwhile, you can get the chairs weather-resistant with FSC seal. The S 1040 table was developed to match the cantilever chairs by the Thonet design team in 1999. The entire ensemble is weatherproof.

Like the S 40 garden chair, the wood of the tables is made of solid African mulberry. The oiled iroko resembles teak. The frames are made of robust stainless steel. The tubular steel chair S 35 from 1929 was brought back to life in 2015 as a weatherproof version. Through the lightness of the furniture, the Bauhaus era put the modern, flexible lifestyle in the foreground. With the continuous line, Breuer achieved a double swing effect between the seat and back frame and the armrests with the S 35. The matching S 35 NH footstool is available in the range. The four-piece B 9 set table comes from Breuer's experiments with tubular steel. The table set was intended to enrich the canteen of the Bauhaus in Dessau.
