The Thonet 119 F is a lounger inspired by the classics of Thonet. In keeping with the company's history, the Thonet 119 is made of bentwood. A technique that was significantly developed by Thonet's founder. The lounge chair is visually classic and looks as if it were from another era. This gives it a certain vintage flair without being vintage.
Designer Sebastian Herkner sees the 119 as an evolution of the Thonet 118, a chair for the dining room. Thonet 119 is an armchair intended primarily for use in the living room or waiting areas. Its design adds purposeful accents to its surroundings.
Comfort and design go hand in hand in the Thonet 119. The black stained beech is classy and adaptable in many environments. The wicker seat provides a comfortable seat that always adapts with you.
Sebastian Herkner
Designer Sebastian Herkner has worked with companies such as ClassiCon and Thonet. For ClassiCon, he designed the iconic Bell Coffee Table. At the beginning of his design career, he worked for Stella McCartney until he founded his own studio in 2006. In 2019 he was elected "Designer of the Year".
