The Silverback Concept

Soft and diffuse light is emitted by the curved opal diffuser. The light is predominantly directed downwards. The back of the diffuser creates interesting effects (halo) with the surroundings through the reflective surface and the transition between luminaire and ceiling/wall appears harmonious.

KiBiSi

In 2009, three designers/architects founded the architectural office. The name KiBiSi is composed of the first letters of their own companies.

Si = Skibsted Ideation
In cooperation with Louis Poulsen the Silverback luminaire for wall/ceiling and as pendant luminaire was developed.

The Louis Poulsen Silverback is used as a pure ceiling light in the version with emergency light package and has an emergency light battery with capacity for 3 hours.
