Lighting concept

The downward light of the Enigma radiates a soft, glare-free light. The surface is uniformly illuminated due to the screen design. The light diffuses through the matt top side and the glossy top side achieves optimum reflection. The luminaire is ideal for use over dining tables, conference tables and more.

Designer Shoichi Uchiyama

Uchiyama was born and raised in Tokyo. He has dedicated himself to lighting with glare-free light since 1977, the year in which he opened his design office. Since then he has been creating quality lighting and realizing the beautiful effects of indirect lighting of rooms.
The strict processes of design manifest themselves in the result; functional and simple forms with minimalist beauty in Japanese tradition. Uchiyama received the iF Award and the Japanese Good Design Award.
