Pivoting head for optimum alignment

The light of the AJ floor lamp is naturally shaped by the design of the lamp head. The radiation is direct and the swivelling lamp head allows optimal directional orientation. The inside of the shade is painted white to give off a diffuse, pleasant light.

Arne Jacobsen is responsible for the design of the AJ floor lamp. Originally made for the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the luminaire continues to impress in every interior 60 years later and has become a design classic of the 20th century.

Practical and beautiful

Characteristic of this luminaire is the striking opening in the lamp base. It reinforces the optical impression of lightness, the elegant design element provides a weightless impression. The AJ floor lamp can be effortlessly operated via the practical foot switch.

Supply cable

The model in "white" is equipped with a white supply line. All other colours have a black supply line.

Care instructions

A dry, soft cloth is suitable for removing dust from the luminaire. Remove grease stains and the like with a mild detergent and lukewarm water (<50° C) in a wrung cloth. Please do not use solvents or abrasives.
