Lapalma Cubo bar stool

The Cubo bar stool - design for bar tables or the bar.

The chair was designed by Enzo Berti for Lapalma. Cubo means cube in Italian - square and practical, because the bar stool from manufacturer Lapalma can be stacked to save space. The design in wood is made of bleached beech or walnut color. The metal frame is chrome-plated. The Cubo 65 has a seat height of 65 centimeters.

Enzo Berti was born in 1950 near Venice, where he still lives and works today. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Architecture in Venice and created a variety of furniture and art objects that have been exhibited internationally. Since the 1980-ies he works mainly as an industrial designer, producing furniture, armchairs, chairs, tables, sofas, lamps, shelves, accessories and products for storage. The Venetian works for the office as well as for the bathroom. In addition to Lapalma, Berti has other prestigious clients such as Magis and Artemide. In 2014, he received the Italian award for design, the coveted Compasso d'Oro.
