The designer Poul Kjærholm
The Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm was born in 1929. In contrast to many other Danish designers, he mainly works with metal as a basic material. In combination with other materials, such as leather and marble, he created reduced designs. His constructions are planned down to the smallest detail, which distinguishes Kjaerholm as a designer. In 1982, Fritz Hansen took over the rights of Poul Kjaerholm's collections and has been producing them ever since.
