The Fritz Hansen Avion™ pendant light is reminiscent of a zeppelin gliding silently through the air. The two designers Aleksej Iskos and Boris Berlin were already fascinated by flying machines in their childhood. The zeppelin aroused a particular enthusiasm and inspired the designers to create this design.
The Avion™ is large and yet playful and light. The diffuse light immerses the room in a natural atmosphere. The effect of the lamp is particularly effective when it is hung high up in the room.
The Avion™ is suitable for lighting large rooms, canteens or corridors, for example. Several pendant luminaires can be arranged creatively, as a group, in rows or as markers for passageways.
